Unable to sell the Heavy Utility, Aalden Brothers finally sent the Crown to General Auction in October of 1997. This time the winning bidder was CFE member Bill Dundas. By this time the rig was in sad shape. Over the next few years, Bill undertook a complete restoration of this unique Crown, shown here with fresh paint but with a few chrome parts still off.
