ANTIQUE FIRE APPARATUS CONVENTION

in Pomona, CA - February 25-28, 2009
The Crown Firecoach Enthusiasts (AKA the Southern California Chapter of SPAAMFAA) will be hosting the Winter 2009 SPAAMFAA Conference, to be held in Pomona. Our theme is "Crown Time in 2009" as shown above in our official 2009 Convention logos.
CFE has previously hosted two very successful SPAAMFAA conventions, in 1997 and in 2002.
We have secured the Sheraton Suites Fairplex, Pomona as the host hotel and will be using part of the adjacent FAIRPLEX (home of the Los Angeles County Fair) for portions of the event. We have already begun making plans for a large apparatus display, seminars, tours, a wildland firecamp-style dinner, banquet, and much more.

If you are a SPAAMFAA member who will be flying in from outside southern California, book your flight to arrive and depart from the Ontario International Airport. The Sheraton Suites Fairplex will be offering shuttle service during the convention to those attending the SPAAMFAA event.
We are still finalizing our tour locations and fee schedule for this event, but expect to have application forms available by the end of September. Please revisit this site on a regular basis for updated information.
Those interested in bringing vintage apparatus to the convention, we will have a designated parking area for rigs (and transport vehicles) and security on-site, so all rigs are welcome!
